Ich bin auf der Suche nach einer guten Programmierumgebung für JAVA - mit Syntaxhighlithing und dem ganzen "Luxus". Wäre toll, wenn mir jemand eine gute empfehlen könnte.

IDE oder Editor?

NetBeans, Eclipse und JBuilder sind die großen. Es gibt nahezu nichts, was die nicht haben.

du sprichst wohl von der ApiDoc :D

Context ist zwar schön und recht, aber unter Linux gibts x >> 100 Editoren die das und viel mehr leisten und erst noch OpenSource sind

tut er sehr wohl, oder als was beizeichnest du denn den IE sonst?
Und den MediaPlayer? Und die neuste DirectX version?

Papa Bill kennt das Wort sehr wohl (auch wenn er dem lieber Open bzw Shared Source sagen würde) und nutzt es auch, um die user dazu zu bringen, alle seine schönen Software-Sachen zu nutzen...

Der hat das gar nicht notwendig, nimmt sowieso jeder diese Programm, viele wissen es gar nicht. Für viele ist windows DER Computer ;-(
