Position der Gleichungsnumerierung bei \split

Hallo

ich muss relativ lange Formeln darstellen und habe das mit der split-Umgebung gemacht. Damit erhält man einen Zeilenumbruch in langen Formeln. Da die Gleichung jetzt über mehrere Zeilen geht, habe ich ein Problem mit der Position der Gleichungsnummerierung. Diese ist im Moment in der Vertikalen zentriert.
Ich möchte aber, dass die Nr. in der ersten Zeile der Gleichung steht, also dort, wo das = steht. Wie bekomme ich das hin?

Aber es sollte auch so funktionieren (das Layout ist mit dem ampersand bewusst alternativ gesetzt [wie es dann gefällt]):
