10.000 Wörter zählen

Ich bin dabei, einen Artikel zu schreiben, der ungefähr 10.000 Worte umfassen soll (schließlich müssen noch ein paar Anzeigen auf die Seiten passen). Werkzeug sind Suse 9.2 und lyx 1.3.4, aber kile (1.6.3. - ich weiß, 1.8 ist raus) kann ich auch bedienen, wenn mir jemand genau sagt, wie.

Wie kann ich die Worte meines Artikels zählen? Auf ein paar mehr oder weniger kommts nicht an, aber so auf 1-2 % genau sollte die Zählung schon sein.

ich kann das im Moment nicht testen, aber Google hat mit den Suchwörtern latex count words in text flott was gefunden:

Run a spellcheck; it will display the total number of words checked. Make sure the cursor is at the top of the document when you start the spellchecker so that everything is counted.

Alternative 1 (in *nix): Export as text and run ‘wc’. You can do this in one step by exporting as ‘custom’ (text-format) and piping the result to ‘wc’. I think you use File→Export→Custom, but I’m not able to check this right now. /Christian

Alternative 2: See http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/wordcount/ where you can find a shell-script that counts the words in a .tex-file. In principle, you should be able to define a special export format which calls this script on an exported .tex-file.

LyX 1.4 will have a word count feature. Select Tools→Word Count to count the words of the whole document or of a given selection.

sieht so aus, als ob ein Update auf Lyx 1.4 dir am ehesten weiterhelfen könnte.

wc -w datei

Zählt die Wörter. Allerdings zählt das auch die LaTeX Kommandos mit. Also musst du die entweder mit sed oder so rausfiltern oder du lässt wc nur auf den Text los.

Kile hat diese Funktion eingebaut. Nutz sie doch einfach

Die website von lyx.org erreiche ich gerade nicht (404-error), aber die Zählung in kile funktioniert.

Das nächste Mal suche ich nicht nur bei Dante und hier im Forum. :o
